The world we live in tells us that our emotions are a compass that we can depend on when it comes to determining who we are, what we want and what we need. Instead of finding direction from an internal compass we believe that God's Word is a greater compass. God's Word not only reveals who He is, it also reveals who we are and what we need most. Back Bay Church will always be a church that will set its course to the compass of God's Word.

Through repentance and faith in Jesus as Lord, we are rescued. The gospel of Jesus Christ will always motivate Back Bay Church to proclaim this truth to whoever will listen, and be a community that will continually reach out to those in need of a Savior.

We live in a world plagued with imperfections such as sickness, sadness, hatred, pain, suffering, and more than we can name. We often attempt to correct these with our own solutions, but the world always seems to remain hopeless. Through Christ we have hope in the midst of all these things. We can hope to have true satisfaction in an imperfect world, because we belong to the one true God who has adopted us into His family, through Jesus Christ. Jesus offers us hope because he has promised to return as King and make all things right. Back Bay Church will always be a church that sets its focus on the Kingdom of God.

At Back Bay Church loving community is when the good news of Jesus Christ takes root in our lives and we develop a love, for not just God, but a love for others around us. The love that we have for God, and others, compels us to grow in our relationship with each other and grow in our relationship with God, leading us to sharing the love of Jesus to those around us.
